Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced global health professional to co-direct the College of Medicine’s global health initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing programmatic, development, and operational aspects of QCOM’s global health program.  The role includes strategic plan implementation, health systems strengthening, university-wide engagement, international travel, and site partner stewardship, program systems development, enhancing scholarly endeavors, and expanding global health program opportunities and impact. Additionally, the Co-Directors will oversee and manage the global health program staff. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of global health issues and program implementation.
  • Experience working in academia, research institutions, or non-profit organizations.
  • Familiarity with university policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in a health-related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in low-income countries on global health initiatives, programs, and systems strengthening. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of global health issues and program implementation.
  • Experience working in academia, research institutions or non-profit organizations.
  • Familiarity with university policies and procedures.
