Warehouse Line Servicer - 3rd Shift

Job Summary:

Maintains supply of products and packaging materials for packaging lines

Reporting to:  Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Location:  Plant

Hours: Mon- Fri 11:00 PM -07:30 AM

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

• Verify the proper components, and quantities of those components, have been staged to meet the needs of producing the batch
• Communicate any discrepancies in order to minimize the possibility of downtime
• Maintains adequate supply of packaging components throughout the packaging operation
• Maintains production time records for each packaging line
• Verify the appropriate and legible shipper label is on the shipper
• Verify the appropriate stacking pattern is being used on the pallet
• Moves completed skids or containers of completed stock to designated areas using either pallet jack or industrial lift truck
• Ensures each pallet of completed production is shrink wrapped
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation  
• Assists packaging department in other assigned duties
• Use Ross system 

Basic Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
• Good math skills
• Knowledge and experience working in a production team environment
• Highly motivated, conscientious, self-managed team player
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work 2nd Shift and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer skills highly desirable
