Job Summary
University School at ETSU is seeking a motivated and dedicated Head Coach for our Middle School Soccer program. This position offers opportunities to lead either the boys team (spring), girls team (fall), or potentially both teams.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the middle school soccer program. Key responsibilities include fostering individual and team skill development, promoting character growth, and guiding student-athletes to enhance their performance while instilling values of discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork through soccer.
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates strong leadership capabilities in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development. Essential qualifications include excellent communication and organizational skills.
The Head Coach will be expected to attend all practices, games, and team events, coordinate practice schedules with the Athletics Director, and ensure compliance with all TSSAA, ETSU, and Washington County rules and regulations. This role will report directly to the Athletics Director and school administration.

Required Qualifications
- Previous middle school-aged soccer coaching experience
Physical Demands
Demonstrating drills (running, jumping, lifting), demonstrating proper form, moving around a field/court, standing/sitting for long periods, quick reaction times, and maintaining balance, focusing on the specific movements and techniques of soccer, lifting/carrying equipment
