Quality Technician

Location: Johnson Creek, WI 

Employment Type: 3rd shift (10:30pm to 6:15am) Sunday through Thursday.  Flexible, plus some weekends as needed.  

Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Job Summary

We are hiring a Quality Technician / Manufacturing Technician to support our CNC machining operations.

This role is ideal for a CNC operator or manufacturing employee who wants to move into a quality-focused role. If you take pride in making good parts and catching issues early, we will train you on the quality side.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges 
  • Verify parts meet print specifications and quality standards 
  • Support machinists and operators with quality checks 
  • Assist with basic machine setup (tools, materials, fixtures) 
  • Help troubleshoot production or quality issues 
  • Follow and reinforce standard work instructions 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S) 
  • Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals 

Requirements

 Qualifications Required:

  • Experience as a CNC operator, machine operator, or in manufacturing 
  • Basic mechanical aptitude 
  • Strong attention to detail 

Preferred (not required):

  • Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) 
  • Blueprint reading 
  • Quality inspection experience
