MasterMold is hiring a hands-on Quality Technician for a first-shift position with a 3- or 4-day workweek and weekend coverage. You’ll support manufacturing quality control, product inspection, and continuous improvement while working closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement equipment.
  • Document defects, inspection results, and quality data.
  • Support root-cause analysis, corrective actions, containment, sorting, and rework verification.
  • Assist with control plans, PFMEAs, SPC, audits, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Production and Engineering to improve product and process quality.

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing quality control, quality assurance, or inspection experience.
  • Experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read work instructions, inspection criteria, and technical documentation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, statistical process control, capability studies, control plans, PFMEAs, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is preferred.
