Key Responsibilities

Claims Intake & Documentation

  • Gather details and supporting documentation from customers, employees, and insurance providers
  • Take statements from parties involved and ensure accuracy in reporting
  • Maintain organized, detailed notes in the claims management system

Claims Research & Resolution

  • Analyze claims to determine coverage and compliance with company policies
  • Collaborate with the Claims Manager to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information

Customer Communication & Support

  • Communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email
  • De-escalate challenging conversations and manage expectations effectively
  • Provide updates and guidance to internal and external stakeholders

Process & System Improvement

  • Learn and operate multiple software platforms efficiently
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve accuracy
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Claims Department

What You’ll Do

  • Communicate with customers, employees, and insurance providers via phone and email to gather details and documentation
  • Take statements from parties involved
  • Research and analyze claims in our management system to determine coverage
  • Maintain accurate notes and ensure compliance with internal processes
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Collaborate with the Claims Manager and team to ensure accuracy

  • Accurate and timely documentation of all claims
  • Strong relationships built with internal teams and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple claims and prioritize urgent tasks
  • Positive feedback from customers and internal stakeholders on professionalism and responsiveness

Tools You’ll Use

  • Claims management software
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Internal communication platforms

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year Claims experience, preferably in Auto, Property, or Workers Compensation
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to de-escalate situations
  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple software systems
  • Office experience preferred, but not required
