Housekeeper

Meadowview of Johnston, a Cassia community, is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team in Johnston, IA! No prior senior care experience necessary! Come and join our supportive, energetic and passionate team, where your skills will help make an impact on our community.

As a Housekeeper at Meadowview of Johnston, you will clean resident rooms, restrooms, day rooms, and other common areas, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing, and trash removal. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, open-minded, and has a genuine concern for our residents’ well-being. This is an ideal position for people who love working with others! 
 

Position Type: Part-Time, 20-24 hour a week, working a varied schedule including some weekend hours

Location: 5555 Pioneer Parkway, Johnston, IA 50131

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms, restrooms, day room and dining room, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing and trash removal.  
• Launder resident and facility clothing, sheets and towels, including folding, labeling and distribution to resident rooms.
• This role will assist in all departments on an as needed basis.

Housekeeper Qualifications:

• Ability to work with a diverse population of older adults. 
• Have the ability work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks.
