Our Emergency Department is a fast-paced, Level I Trauma Center where teamwork, critical thinking, and high-acuity patient care come together to make a meaningful impact every day. Nurses are supported 24/7 by experienced on-shift leadership and work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team that includes emergency service technicians, surgical technologists, unit clerks, pharmacists, social workers, transport staff, and an exceptional group of attending physicians and advanced practice providers.

How you’ll contributeÂ
An Emergency Service Technician (EST) who excels in this role:
- Works closely with all emergency services staff
- Establishes positive relationships with patients/families and visitors
- Responsible for the proper collection of most specimens used in laboratory analysis   within the scope of their knowledge and experience (Phlebotomy, POC testing)
- Performs point of care testing, and follows appropriate quality control procedures
- Assists with the admission, transfer and discharge of patients as appropriate, including the transporting of patients throughout the facility

What we’re looking forÂ
Applicants should have a possess a high school diploma and completion of an EMT/nurse aide/patient care technician training or equivalent. Additional requirements include:
CPR
Phlebotomy preferred
Emergency Care Experience preferred
