With more than six decades of experience, we ensure the highest quality standards in every project.  Learn more about us here:  https://electro-metrics.com Summary/ Objective: This position oversees the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of the organization’s manufacturing equipment, buildings, and grounds, ensuring a safe, functional, and compliant workplace.    Job Requirements: Supervise and coordinate internal maintenance staff and external contractors. Provide guidance, training, and performance management to ensure high standards of service and operational efficiency.  Lead day-to-day preventative maintenance, repairs, and renovations of manufacturing equipment, buildings, and grounds, to minimize disruptions and maintain functionality.  Ensure all facilities comply with workplace health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. Conduct regular inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective measures. Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental management and regulations. Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers, suppliers, and contractors. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure quality service delivery. Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring effective communication regarding facility operations  Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. At least 5 years of prior experience in a similar role or having similar responsibilities, with at least 3 years supervising other employees. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing standards especially as it relates to machining and fabrication equipment. Forklift certification is required, and if not current, must be re-established Strong leadership and team management abilities. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Familiarity with vendor management and contract negotiation. Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrate a strong team player mentality and a can-do attitude, collaborating effectively with colleagues and management to achieve team and organizational goals. Preferred Experience / Education: Proficiency in project management, budgeting, and operational planning. Prior experience working in a metal fabrication business Manufacturing: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and bend, and regularly wear safety PPE properly, such as respirators, hearing and eye protection, and safety footwear. Required to be standing for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
