Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Residence Counselor to join our Fulton & Montgomery team. In this role, you will support residents in developing the skills needed to live independently and thrive in their communities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement Individual Action Plans (IAPs)
Provide approved Medicaid billable services, including:
- Assertiveness and self-advocacy
- Community integration
- Daily living skills training
- Health services and medication management
- Parenting training
- Rehabilitation counseling and skill development
- Socialization and symptom management
- Substance use support
Teach and support independent living skills, such as:
- Nutrition, meal planning, grocery shopping, and food preparation/storage
- Basic housekeeping
- Personal hygiene
- Money management
Encourage positive social interaction and participation in recreational and leisure activities

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Availability: On-call availability required

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Valid NYS drivers license
First Aid/CPR certified (preferred)
