Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Residence Counselor to join our Fulton & Montgomery team. In this role, you will support residents in developing the skills needed to live independently and thrive in their communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individual Action Plans (IAPs)
- Provide approved Medicaid billable services, including:
- Assertiveness and self-advocacy
- Community integration
- Daily living skills training
- Health services and medication management
- Parenting training
- Rehabilitation counseling and skill development
- Socialization and symptom management
- Substance use support
- Teach and support independent living skills, such as:
- Nutrition, meal planning, grocery shopping, and food preparation/storage
- Basic housekeeping
- Personal hygiene
- Money management
- Encourage positive social interaction and participation in recreational and leisure activities
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Availability: On-call availability required

Qualifications:
- Â High School Diploma or GED
- Â Valid NYS drivers license
- Â First Aid/CPR certified (preferred)
