Pest Control Technician – United Communities, Joint Base MDL, NJ

Are you experienced in pest control and looking for a stable, full-time position with a reputable apartment community serving our military families? We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to support our residential communities and help maintain a safe, comfortable living environment for our residents.

 About the Role

As our Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, treating, and preventing pest issues throughout apartment homes and common areas. You’ll work closely with property management and maintenance teams to ensure timely and effective service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency pest control treatments in occupied and vacant apartment homes

  • Identify pest problems, determine appropriate treatment methods, and apply products safely

  • Maintain accurate service logs and treatment records

  • Educate residents on preventative measures

  • Follow all federal, state, and local regulations regarding pesticide application

  • Maintain pest control equipment and inventory of supplies

  • Communicate professionally with residents and staff

Qualifications

  • Valid state Pest Control Applicator License

  • Previous pest control experience (residential or multifamily preferred)

  • Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) practices

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage schedule efficiently

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing, kneeling)
