We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in the Joliet, IL area for the 20262027 school year. This is a full-time, school-based position working with young learners in an early childhood setting.

Position Overview:
The ECSE Teacher will support students with diverse learning needs by creating an inclusive, nurturing, and structured classroom environment that promotes academic, social, and developmental growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs

  • Provide instruction tailored to early childhood learners with varying abilities

  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment

  • Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families

  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to support developmental milestones

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement required

  • Experience working with early childhood populations preferred

  • Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
