Painter

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed
• Apply paint, stain, and coatings to walls, ceilings, floors, and exterior surfaces
• Repair minor wall damage including drywall patching, cracks, and holes
• Maintain and refresh store appearance, including high-traffic areas and customer-facing spaces
• Ensure proper color matching and consistent finishes across locations
• Safely operate and maintain painting tools and equipment
• Follow safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain clean and organized work areas during and after projects
• Coordinate with management to schedule work during low-traffic hours to minimize disruption
• Keep records of work completed, materials used, and supply needs
• Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of painting or related experience preferred (commercial experience a plus)
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts safely
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Benefits: 

Pay Rate: $16 - $30 per hour, depending on experience
