Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective warehouse processes and procedures.
- Ensure the accurate tracking and management of inventory levels.
- Optimize warehouse layout and organization to maximize space and efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors and frontline workers.
- Monitor and manage KPIs related to warehouse performance, such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
- Implement safety measures and protocols to create a safe work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in a distribution environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations, best practices, and industry trends.
- Proficient in using warehouse management software and systems.
