Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and fixture malfunctions
- Install and replace plumbing components including sinks, faucets, toilets, and valves
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues to minimize disruption to store operations
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and health regulations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used
- Coordinate with external contractors when specialized work is required
- Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as needed
- Monitor water usage and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- 3+ years experience of plumbing or maintenance experience preferred
- Able to work well on a team
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills for plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
