Responsibilities

Manages and coordinates operational strategies. Reviews, analyzes, and prepares reports, records, and data required for plan activities. Develops and implements policies, practices, procedures, and operating goals. Approves and allocates resources based on business priorities. Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. Performs complex tasks typically following established processes. Understands, leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified calendars, budgets, strategic plans, or policies. 


Qualifications

  • 10 years’ experience in facilities operations, logistics or maintenance related work.
  • 6 of the 10 years must have been in a supervisory or management role, overseeing the performance of logistical operations and maintenance.
  • Have general knowledge of GCSS-A, LOGSA and FEDLOG.
  • Have general knowledge of LIW and the different applications associated with it.
  • Be proficient in Excel, Power Point, Word, and proper email etiquette.
  • Must have the ability to supervise and motivate subordinates to attain stated objectives.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Must be US Citizen to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check (NAC) to obtain a CAC. 

Specialized areas of performance:

 

  • Knowledge of labor and cost tracking.
  • Understanding of government contracts, correspondence, reports, and records.
  • Prior experience working with and managing a unionized workforce.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Good presentation/public speaking skills.
