What You'll Do:

 

      1. Evaluate and treat residents with temporary or long-term physical                          disabilities.

      2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing various                    therapies.

      3. Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to               ensure coordinated care.

      4. Document progress and outcomes to measure patient success.

 

We are looking for a PT with:

 

       1. A Bachelor's, Master's degree, or DPT in Physical Therapy (required).

       2. Licensure as a PT in the state of Florida (required).

       3. One or more years of clinical experience (preferred).

       4. A passion for working with geriatric populations.

       5. Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

       6. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy. • One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the State.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESMay provide onsite supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Aides, and provisional physical therapists per state practice guidelines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTShift work may be required. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk and hear. Employee will occasionally assist to lift and / or transfer patients weighing between 100 to 250 pounds. Employee is occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. In compliance with applicable, law, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. OTHER REQUIREMENTSParticipates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of resident’s protected health information. Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law. Agrees to adhere to and oversee communication of privacy guidelines relative to the confidentiality of residents' protected health information.
