The Blueprint (Role Profile)

Opportunity available for a 2nd Shift Panel Bender Operator in our Jonesboro, AR facility. Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

The Build (Responsibilities)

  • Set up and operate panel bender to support production.
  • Set up and changeover machines, load and edit programs, and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and align tooling, dies, fixtures, and gauges as required.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and identify problems with tooling and machine adjustments.
  • Maintain quality standards, inspecting the product and adjusting machines as needed to meet product specifications.
  • Check products visually with fixed gauges and prints, including first piece inspections.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment when required.
  • Move materials within the work area.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product/service, including reporting non-conforming materials.
  • Report unusual conditions or questionable items to lead or supervisor.
  • Adhere all safety rules and regulations.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly.
  • Maintain accurate records as required.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience operating brake press or similar; minimum 1 year required.
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability.
  • Able to read blueprints and interpret measurements.
  • Able to accurately use caliper and tape measure to 1/32”.
  • Able to work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week and Saturdays) as required.
  • Stand and walk continuously for 8-10 hours, if necessary.
  • Lift and carry 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
