We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator at our Jonesboro, AR clinic. Our PCCs play a key role in delivering a positive care experience by ensuring that scheduling, documentation, and day-to-day operations run smoothly. When you join Ottobock.care, you're not just starting a job. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support at the front desk by answering telephones, taking messages, routing calls, or notifying appropriate individuals.
- Schedule or modify patient appointments.Â
- ​Ensure customers receive the best service possible and concerns are satisfactorily resolved.Â
- ​Communicate courteously and professionally with patients for scheduling, financial responsibility, required medical documentation through direct live/phone communication, fax, and email as appropriate. Â
- ​Obtain medical documentation from physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, therapists, nursing facilities and hospitals as applicable, through direct live/phone communication, fax, and email as appropriate.Â
- ​Assist in securing insurance authorizations for patient cases as needed. Â
- ​Create patient account profile in the Medical Record system.Â
- ​Perform light shipping and receiving of medical device products and components.Â
- ​Maintain a clean office work environment.Â
- ​Accept cash payments from patients as appropriate. Â
- ​Comply with Corporate Compliance and HIPAA responsibilities.Â
- ​Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.​Â
Qualifications
- Proficient in MS Office and databases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Office administrative management experience, preferably in a medical/dental/therapy office.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid preferred.
- Customer service experience.
