Opportunity available for a 3rd Shift Powder Paint Operator in our Jonesboro, AR facility. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM.

The Build (Responsibilities)

• Operates various types of paint, powder coat, and finishing equipment to produce the specified finish on Apex products.
• Follows standard operating procedures or special instructions.
• Maintains proper amperage, speed, temperatures, and chemicals needed to meet specifications. 
• Performs quality and thickness testing. 
• Cleans and flushes tanks periodically. 
• Handles, packs, and moves material in the area. 
• Performs various maintenance duties such as keeping electrical contacts clean. 
• Completes preventive maintenance schedule as required.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product/service.
• Report unusual conditions or questionable items to supervisor.
• Obey all safety rules and regulations.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Maintain records as required.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience.
• Able to work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week and Saturdays) as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk continuously for 8-10 hours, if necessary.
• Lift and carry 50 pounds.
