Location Description
Post Consumer Brands in Jonesboro, Ark. is home to more than 200 team members. Jonesboro may be a smaller town, but it has a strong performing arts scene, multiple schools, and a diverse geography with sports and outdoor recreation opportunities for everyone. The Post Jonesboro team supports the community through food pantry volunteering and an annual toy drive during the holiday season.
Responsibilities
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time technical support to Operations, Maintenance, and leadership teams during production
- Lead and support noncompliance investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Perform audits and analyses on finished products, ingredients, packaging, and production systems
- Conduct inspections across key programs including GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, pest prevention, and allergen controls
- Investigate consumer and customer complaints to identify trends and solutions
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot QA lab and production testing equipment
- Record, analyze, and report audit findings and quality data
- Manage product holds/releases and communicate non-compliance issues with vendors (SCARs)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across quality and food safety programs
- Ensure all work aligns with plant safety, food safety (SQF), quality, and environmental standards
Location & Travel
- Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM on a rotating 2-3-2 schedule (includes every other weekend)
- Overtime: Required based on production needs and built into shift schedule.Â
- Travel: Minimal to none; plant-based role

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of food production and laboratory experience (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, GLPs, and food safety systems
- Experience with audits, SPC, and quality systems; PCQI certification preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical and regulatory data clearly
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Comfortable working with chemicals and near manufacturing equipment
- Ability to lead discussions, facilitate meetings, and support training initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
