The Emergency Department is a 41 bed, Level II Trauma Center, Level II Stroke Center, & Level I STEMI Center
More than 45,000 annual visits
Staffed 24/7 with Residency-trained, Board Certified Emergency Physicians as well as Physicians, Physicians Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
BHAT   Behavioral Health Assessment Team provides Psychiatry consulting services on a full-time basis in the Emergency Department
The Emergency Department is well established in the region as a heart care leader and has attained world-class ranking in door to balloon times well into the 90th percentile

What You’ll Do

The Emergency Department Patient Flow Coordinator is a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) responsible for optimizing patient throughput and communication within the ED. This role ensures timely patient placement, efficient bed turnover, and seamless coordination between pre-hospital providers, ED staff, inpatient units, and support services. The coordinator acts as the central point of contact for patient flow, contributing to operational excellence and patient satisfaction.
