About Us - Cardiology Unit
Located on the second floor at Freeman Hospital West
Cardiology is a fast-paced, high-energy, procedurally driven unit caring for patients with cardiac or vascular ailments
45-bed unit focused on “anything and everything HEART!”
Bedside care is delivered by a team of high-quality nursing staff consisting of Registered Nurses, New Graduate Nurses, Unit Techs and Unit Secretaries
What You’ll Do
The RN will be responsible for the prepping and recovery of CCL patients. The RN will assist with Chest tube pulls and Dressing changes, Pulling pacer wires, Sheath Pulls, Purse string pulls.
Requirements:
AHA ACLS within 120 days.
AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
If RN, current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 120 days.
RN Competency Day annually by transcript due date.
STEMI CEU Hours - 8 per year annually by transcript due date.
Stroke CEU Hours - 4 per year annually by transcript due date.
