Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. As the Operations Team Lead for our Home Delivery segment, you will be the driving force behind our "last mile" success. You will manage the daily execution of high-volume delivery operations, ensuring that goods move seamlessly from our facility to the customer’s front door. This role is a blend of frontline leadership, vendor management, and proactive problem-solving to ensure every delivery is safe, on time, and exceeds customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Execution: Lead the dispatch and routing of delivery teams/haulers to ensure 100% completion of the daily schedule.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and report on KPIs, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), and 
  • service quality scores,
  • Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with independent contractors and third-party carriers, ensuring they adhere to Maersk’s high standards for safety and professionalism.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the point of escalation for delivery issues, resolving customer complaints or damage claims with speed and empathy.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) standards and OSHA regulations within the facility and in the field.
  • Team Building: Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training delivery teams to maintain a high-performing and scalable workforce.

Pay:

$60k annually

  

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.  The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
