landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks, operates landscaping equipment, and assists with
general labor duties to ensure all assigned areas meet contract requirements and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
• Plant, water, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation.
• Remove weeds, debris, leaves, litter, and other materials from assigned areas.
• Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, weed trimmers,
edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, and other hand and power tools.
• Apply mulch, fertilizer, and soil amendments as directed.
• Assist with irrigation system inspections and minor repairs.
• Remove storm debris when required.
• Perform general labor duties, including digging, raking, lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting
materials.
• Maintain sidewalks, parking lots, fences, curbs, and other exterior areas.
• Clean and maintain equipment and vehicles.
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and safety
procedures.
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of lawn care and landscape maintenance practices.
• Valid driver's license preferred (or required if operating company vehicles).

• Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
• Ability to safely operate powered equipment.
Work Environment
• Primarily outdoors.
• Exposure to dust, pollen, noise, insects, uneven terrain, and changing weather conditions.
• May require occasional overtime, weekends, or emergency response during severe weather
events.

• Follow all OSHA, company, and customer safety regulations.
• Immediately report accidents, injuries, hazards, and equipment malfunctions.
