Job Description

As a Security Guard Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, donors, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a healthcare collection location.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, and document unusual activity, incidents, and/or policy violations.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment by providing directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and reporting facility concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
