Responsibilities may include the following:Â Â
- Provide production support engineering for testing methods, procedures, device specifications, and yield issues.
- Analyze customer returns, supplier-related engineering changes, and implement cost optimization strategies.
- Support minor redesigns of devices, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Assume responsibility for devices/components after transfer into high-volume production.
- Support manufacturing operations, excluding wafer fabrication.
- Assist customers with device usage issues and testing of complex products.
- Support design and planning of manufacturing processes including machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding, brazing, assembly, and material handling.
- Support machine and equipment design to meet production and factory requirements.
- Assist in optimizing plant layout to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Define and support sequences of operations and procedures for fabrication processes.
- Incorporate inspection and testing requirements into production plans.
- Evaluate machinery, equipment, and tools performance; identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality systems, and regulatory standards.
- Apply engineering principles aligned with standard manufacturing and design practices.
- Support day-to-day manufacturing activities and operations.
- Execute and support continuous improvement projects (Scrap Reduction, Equipment Efficiency, Cost Reduction).
- Support NCMR (Non-Conformance Material Reports) resolution and reduction initiatives.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using Lean Six Sigma methodologies when applicable.
- Analyze and interpret data to support decision-making and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain and update documentation related to processes, validation, maintenance, and calibration.
- Ensure compliance with process and product specifications.
- Execute validations for mechanical and automated (computer-driven) equipment.
- Participate in engineering and operations meetings.
- Solve technical problems within scope of expertise and follow escalation processes as required.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
- 0+ years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates welcome).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory environments (preferred)
