Restaurant Team Member (Kitchen & Cashiers) - Miss J's Cafe

Miss J's, looked in our bustling travel center, is looking for energetic and friendly Restaurant Team Members (Kitchen & Cashiers) to join our fast-paced team! As a Restaurant Team Member, you’ll help create an outstanding guest experience by delivering great service, preparing quality food and drinks, and keeping the restaurant clean and running smoothly. If you enjoy working in a fun, team-oriented environment, we want to meet you!

WALK-IN INTERVIEWS: From 11am - 4pm weekdays at our travel center 115 S Segovia Access Rd, Junction, TX!

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude
• Take customer orders accurately and provide fast, efficient service
• Prepare food and beverages according to quality and presentation standards
• Deliver orders quickly and ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, kitchen, and guest areas
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow all food safety procedures
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed
• Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly during busy shifts
• Operate the POS system and handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Assist with stocking supplies, cleaning tasks, and opening or closing duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• No experience required — we’re happy to train motivated team members
• Previous food service, restaurant, or customer service experience is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Basic math and cash handling skills preferred
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays preferred
