Preschool Childcare Teacher
Location - Palmer, AK

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Preschool Childcare Teacher to join a growing childcare team. This is a lead position, responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment for young children while supporting their educational, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities-Â Childcare provider
- Plan and lead age appropriate educational activities and classroom lessons
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for children
- Supervise children throughout daily activities, meals, and outdoor play
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and learning materials
- Encourage learning through play, creativity, reading, and hands on activities
- Applicant must be able to multi-task, and will answer to the Center Administrator or Care Manager.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training opportunities
- Follow all company policies and childcare licensing requirements
- Onboarding new staff, reviews timecardsÂ

Requirements
Required Qualifications - Childcare provider
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare, daycare, preschool, or youth program experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and actively engage with children throughout the day
- CDA Credential, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related education is a plus
