Housekeeper

Beach House Center for Recovery is a well-established treatment facility in Palm Beach County that offers a full continuUm of care to adults struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. Our Housekeeping Team plays an important role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities Include:

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces according to established cleaning standards

• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas throughout the facility

• Empty trash and properly dispose of waste

• Change linens, make beds, and assist with laundry duties as assigned

• Restock restroom and housekeeping supplies

• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply areas in a clean and orderly condition

• Promptly report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or other facility issues

• Follow infection-control, safety, and sanitation procedures

• Respect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality while working in patient-care areas

• Work cooperatively with other members of the HousekeepingTeam

• Complete assigned cleaning responsibilities thoroughly and within established timeframes

• Assist with deep-cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as needed

Qualifications Include:

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, healthcare, or residential cleaning experience preferred

• Experience working in a healthcare or behavioral health environment is a plus

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment

• Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with patients, visitors, and staff at all times

• Ability to follow cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and supervisor instructions

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with housekeeping, including bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary:

$15.00 per hour – Full-Time

Schedule:

• Full-Time

• Schedule may include weekends and holidays based on facility needs

• Applicants must have reliable transportation and the ability to report to their assigned work location as scheduled

Experience:

• Housekeeping/Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)

• Healthcare or Behavioral Health Housekeeping: Preferred, but not required
