The ideal candidate will have experience securing loads, operating flatbed trailers, and complying with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate a flatbed truck to transport materials, equipment, and other freight to designated locations. Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safe operating conditions. Properly secure loads using straps, chains, tarps, and binders. Verify load accuracy and ensure compliance with weight and cargo regulations. Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required documentation. Follow all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and management. Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delays promptly. Practice safe driving habits and maintain a clean driving record. Assist with loading and unloading freight when required.
