Responsibilities:
- Operate double-needle sewing machines to produce consistent, high-quality stitched products
- Set up, thread, and adjust double-needle machines for various fabric types and stitch specifications
- Inspect finished pieces for quality control, ensuring seams meet production standards
- Monitor machine performance and make minor mechanical adjustments as needed
- Follow production schedules to meet daily output and efficiency goals
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with safety guidelines
- Report equipment malfunctions or material defects to supervisors promptly
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating double-needle or industrial sewing machines preferred
- Ability to read and follow sewing patterns, diagrams, or work orders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality stitchwork
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods in a production environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude for machine threading, tensioning, and adjustments
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to meet production quotas in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
