Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control in Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage access points, verify credentials, monitor entry activity, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $19.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, common areas, business spaces, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Operate access-control systems, cameras, intercoms, and related equipment in accordance with site procedures, escalating malfunctions or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
