Le Jardin Academy is looking for a Cook 1 (Regular Part-time).  Ideal candidate will have demonstrated customer service excellence, basic math ability to accurately count and handle money, food prep and cooking experience (preferred), experience relevant to similar facility or school operation (preferred), and experience in a team-oriented environment. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area

  • Safely operate and maintain food truck cooking equipment, including an open flame grill, burners, and two deep fryers

  • Upholding quality and food sanitation standards as required by the Food and Services Manager

  • Preparation and stocking of all food and beverages

  • Serving students in both food truck and concession area as required

  • Wash dishes

  • Cleaning of kitchen and Food Truck

  • Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.

  • Keeps up to date with Department of Health regulations

  • Additional duties as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

  • Demonstrated customer service excellence

  • Basic math ability to accurately count and handle money

  • Food prep experience (preferred)

  • Experience relevant to similar facility or school operation (preferred)

  • Experience in a team-oriented environment
