Description

WNWN-FM | Battle Creek, MI

WIN 98.5 and Midwest Communications, Inc is looking for a passionate, creative, and results-driven Brand Manger to lead the station’s country music brand in the Battle Creek market.

The Brand Manager is the leader, champion and guardian of the WIN 98.5 brand, responsible for developing and executing a compelling programming strategy that connects with listeners, grows ratings, strengthens the station’s position in the community and delivers results for our audience, clients and company.

This is a highly visible leadership position for someone who understands that successful radio is about much more than what comes out of the speakers. The Brand Manager will oversee the station’s on-air product while also driving its presence across digital platforms, social media, promotions, events and the community.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and leader who can motivate talent, develop compelling content, identify opportunities, make decisions and hold themselves and others accountable. They should have a genuine passion for country music, local radio and the listeners we serve.

We are asking you to…

· Have previous experience in radio programming, preferably as a Brand Manager, Program Director, Assistant Program Director or similar leadership role.

· Have strong knowledge of country music and the country radio audience.

· Be able to develop and execute a successful radio brand.

· Have a strong understanding of ratings, audience research, and programming strategy.

· Have a strong connection to the local community and a desire to make WIN 98.5 a meaningful part of listeners’ lives.

· Have a valid Michigan Driver License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check

We offer a great work environment along with a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package.
