First Shift Housekeeper

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Environmental Services team as a Housekeeper that is responsible for cleanliness of Friendship Village – Kalamazoo, including but not limited to Village Apartments, Woodside, Health Center, Laundry, Garden Homes, and all areas associated with Friendship Village – Kalamazoo; always following departmental guidelines and procedures. This full-time first shift (7a-3p) position with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour. Ready to jump into a role that matters? 

Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing each day as a Housekeeper:

• Completes Work Orders assigned by Director or by Residents.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition
• Supplies are put away in appropriate areas.

• Previous Housekeeping/Laundry preferred but not required.
• A compassionate team player that has initiative and integrity.
• Ability to clean Residents rooms and all areas of FVK with minimal disturbance to inhabitant of same.
