Utility Worker

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our culinary team as a Utility Worker that performs a number of kitchen activities including dishwashing, pot and pan washing, general cleaning duties, and storing food and non-food supplies. This full-time/part-time position offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and no late nights, with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour. Ready to jump into a role that matters? Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing each day as a Utility Worker:

• Sets up dishes and pot washing areas.
• Scrapes, scrubs and prewashes pots, pans, utensils and dishes. 
• Loads and runs all items through the dish machine.

Got what it takes to shine in this role?Here are a few of the qualifications we are looking for: 

• High school diploma preferred.  Must have the ability to read, write and speak English, understand measurements, make basic conversions, perform basic arithmetic, and follow basic oral and written instructions.
• Some bussing, dishwashing, general cleaning and/or stocking experience but will train. (Preferred)
• Ability to plan and organize work and to interpret instructions and standards.
