Friendship Village is recruiting for a Friendly and Energetic Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our Health Center team! This opportunity is Part Time, 3rd shift (7p-7a) has Benefits, Great Staff-Resident Ratio, and Teamwork. Starting pay depends on if you are an RN or an LPN. This role provides full-scope, hands on functions within the community.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a RN/LPN:

  • Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift.
  • Administers direct care as necessary.
  • Rounds twice a shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
  • Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.
  • Updates Residents care plans as residents’ status change and physician orders dictate.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • Current nursing license valid in the State of Michigan
  • At least 6 months nursing experience in Skilled Nursing setting
  • Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community.
