OUR CORE VALUES Integrity | Compassion | Empowerment | Sustainability WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE As a Material Handler in Shipping and Receiving at Davis Creek, you will keep raw materials moving accurately from receipt to inventory to production. Your work is essential to keeping our manufacturing operations stocked and on track. HOW YOU WILL DO IT - Move raw material into inventory once receiving is complete - Consolidate material in pan, rack, and arm locations to make space available for new inventory - Assist the receiving clerk with unloading incoming raw material - Return and restock material to inventory - Assist in disposal and stocking of non-inventoried items including cardboard, trash, and scrap material - Provide material requirements to the Manufacturing team - Operate forklift and material moving equipment - Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure inventory is protected - Use a computer or electronic equipment for data entry WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Basic requirements: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (required) - 3-6 months of related experience (required) - Must be licensed or able to be licensed to operate forklift and 4D equipment (required) - Must have or be willing to obtain a Chauffeur's license - Ability to read and use a tape measure and caliper Physical requirements: - Stand and walk for the full shift; frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements - Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. - Depth perception and ability to adjust focus - Ability to wear all required safety equipment - Able to work in a noisy environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US - Pay: $18.00+ - Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM - Weekly pay - PTO and 401(k) with match starting Day 1 - Medical, dental, and vision coverage effective the 1st of the month after hire - HSA with company contribution of up to $1500, FSA, and wellness premium discount - Company-paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability, pet insurance, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement This job description describes the general nature and level of work expected. QualificationsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent (required) 3 to 6 months of related experience (required) Must be licensed or able to be licensed to operate mobile equipment including fork-lift and 4D (required) Must currently have a chauffeur license, or be willing to obtain one. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Routinely required to stand and walk; use hands to handle and feel; reach with arms and hands; as well as climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Routinely performs repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, lifting and pulling Remains in a stationary, standing, or walking position for the length of the shift. Lifts, moves, or positions materials weighing up to 50lbs. Specific vision requirements include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to wear all necessary safety equipment. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS Routinely work in noisy environment. Routinely exposed to moving and mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
