Job DetailsJob Location: Pleasantview-Nursing Facility - Kalona, IA 52247Salary Range: $31.75 - $45.60Registered Nurse for Long Term Care We are looking for part-time, every Friday and Saturday second-shift registered nurse who is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to some of the world's wisest people. For the residents they look after, these nurses become an essential part of their lives. It requires a combination of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to be an RN at Pleasantview. About Us: Pleasantview welcomed its first residents in 1958. We are a faith-based, not-for-profit, small-town, caring community. Our recently remodeled buildings house 50 skilled nursing beds, 16 dementia care rooms, and 28 assisted living suites. The community also includes 57 independent living units. Job Requirements and Responsibilities:  Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assess patient health conditions, monitor vitals, and update Electronic Health Records (EHR). Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop optimal treatment plans. Provide emotional support and education to patients and family members. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control protocols. Coordinate the work of Certified Nursing Assistants. Work Hours: We have a part-time every Friday and Saturday 2nd shift position available. 2nd shift is from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
