Customer Account Specialist

This document’s purpose is to outline the duties and responsibilities of a Customer Account Specialist at Curry Warehouses at 111 Davisville, Rd., Davisville, WV 26142. Educational Requirements

• Education: High School or equivalent
• Training: Warehouse Management Software training (on the job)

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Experience: Three years of customer service or other customer-facing, clerical job experience
• Skills: Computer savvy
• Skills: High attention to detail
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software
• Skills: Strong and professional communication skills
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned customer account.
• Maintain communications with customers and their representatives.
• Communicate requirements/directions to warehouse staff.
• Analyze customer orders and allocate the correct material for shipments.
• Prepare documentation for receiving, shipping, and all other Outside Warehousing activities.
• Maintain impeccable activity records for Outside Warehousing activities.
• Prepare and send daily activity reports.
• Reconcile activity and inventory with customer ERP records.
• Prepare various reports for customers and management upon request.
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide unparalleled customer service.
• Schedule and ensure timely shipments of customer materials.
• Review inventory records for errors and correct any discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage of controlled items (CTPAT bolt seals, customer shipped supplies)
• Schedule and coordinate cycle count events.
• Understand individual influence and strive to achieve company performance metrics.
• Other duties as assigned.
