Location: On-Site - Must currently reside on Oʻahu and be available for in-person interviews and immediate hire.

Schedule: Full-time; open availability including weekends and holidays is required. 

Position Summary:

The Custodian supports the upkeep and cleanliness of Kualoa Ranch’s facilities to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff. This position is responsible for routine janitorial services and general facility upkeep, including restroom sanitation, floor care, waste removal, and minor maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, able to work independently, and provides excellent customer service when interacting with guests and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, locker rooms, and public areas throughout the day
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned interior and exterior areas
• Empty waste containers and replace liners in designated locations
• Clean windows, doors, and other high-touch surfaces
• Perform light maintenance and general repair work as assigned
• Replenish restroom supplies and report inventory needs
• Support event setup, cleanup, and other facilities-related tasks
• Provide friendly and respectful customer service to guests and residential tenants

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and tenants
• Must be able to lift and carry 50–75 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions including sun, rain, and wind
• Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the day
• May work around cleaning chemicals, high-traffic guest areas, and uneven surfaces
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive and physically demanding tasks daily
