Purpose of Position:
Location: Kankakee, IL
Direct Hire! We are currently accepting applications for Class A CDL Drivers to fill permanent, year-round, direct hire positions in Kankakee, IL!
Tricont Trucking Company is a Del Monte Fresh Company!
Earn $1,300 - 1,600 per week (Top drivers $1,300+)
- Home Daily
- Start times: as earliest as 2:00 a.m
- Average 40 - 50 hours per week
- 90% No-Touch Freight
- Primarily 2025 model trucks (newer fleet)
- Consistent, year-round work – no seasonal slowdowns
- 15 days of PTO for the year + 2 Floating holidays. Eligible to use after completion of the 90-day probationary period!

Job Description:
- Run local/regional routes out of Kankakee, IL
- Deliver fresh and refrigerated products
- Ensure safe, on-time deliveries
- Operate modern, well-maintained equipment
What to Expect:
- Start times between (2:00a.m.- 4:00 a.m.)
- 10–12-hour shifts
- Average 50+ -hour work week
- 5–6-day work week (Monday-Saturday schedule)
- Consistent routes and schedules – minimal week-to-week changes
- Fast-paced operation with steady stops
Pay & Bonuses:
- $1,300–$1,600 weekly average
- $78,000–$80,000 annually
- $500 Quarterly Safety Bonus
Requirements:
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Minimum 1 year Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record: No more than 3 moving violations/accidents within the last 36 months
- Ability to pass DOT physical, background, and drug screening
