Job DetailsJob Location: Kankakee, IL 60901Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 SalaryResponsibilities: Coordinates and performs monthly financial close in accordance with GAAP and accrual accounting Reviews income statements and balance sheets ensuring accuracy and completeness with ability to investigate and explain variances Manages cash activity including bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and bond operating transfers Oversees reserves and reserve reimbursement requests with clear understanding of reserve structures Supports annual audits, quarterly audit requests, SOX testing (as applicable), and lender/owner inquiries Ensures compliance with financial, regulatory, and contractual reporting requirements Oversees financial operations, fund requests, and compliance reporting for communities in the preopening phase Assists with acquisition onboarding, including review of previous financials, creation of initial budgets, coordination of utility transfers, and setup of new vendors Supports new site onboarding with financial education and training Develops and manages annual operating budgets using Solver Prepares budget-to-actual analyses, cost reports and financial compliance reports as required Participates in ownership calls, budget presentations, and financial discussions QualificationsQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance  Demonstrates analytical skills with comprehension and application of GAAP Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Previous experience with senior housing preferred Experience with Solver, Intacct, or Yardi hosted property management software and other applications preferred Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefit packages Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) Employer-subsidized gym membership & wellness program EAP & Maven family planning program 401(k) with biweekly employer match Outside-In Employee Referral Program Intentional work-life balance supported with competitive Paid Time Off Self-service payroll & tools (PayCom)
