About the Role:

The Cutting Machine Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by accurately operating cutting machinery to shape and prepare materials according to precise specifications. This position ensures that raw materials are efficiently and safely transformed into components that meet quality standards and production deadlines. The operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining cutting equipment to optimize performance and minimize waste. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to prevent errors and maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, the role contributes directly to the overall productivity and quality output of the manufacturing facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating cutting machines or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Basic understanding of machine operation and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in machine operation or manufacturing technology.
• Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) cutting machines.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and tools.
• Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate cutting machines according to job specifications and blueprints.
• Operate cutting machinery to cut materials such as metal, plastic, or fabric with precision and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Record production data and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

Skills:
