About the Role:

The Slitting Machine Operator 1st plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining slitting machines to convert large rolls of material into precise widths as required for production. This position ensures that the slitting process meets quality standards, adheres to safety protocols, and maximizes efficiency to support overall production goals. The operator is responsible for setting up the machine, monitoring its operation, and making necessary adjustments to maintain product specifications. Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are essential to troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime. Ultimately, this role contributes to delivering high-quality finished products that meet customer and company standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating slitting or similar industrial machinery.
  • Basic mechanical skills and ability to read and interpret production specifications.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
