Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Courier Driver to join our team. Drivers are the front line of customer interaction and play a vital role in ensuring mail and materials are delivered safely, securely, and on time. This position requires strong driving habits, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles while following all traffic laws and safety guidelines 
• Complete assigned delivery and pickup routes in a timely manner 
• Protect customer mail and materials during all weather conditions 
• Provide professional and courteous customer service 
• Perform initial mail sorting for stamped, presorted, flats, and other mail processing 
• Complete dock sorting for presort, metered, and stamped mail from delivery routes 
• Ensure customers have trays, tubs, and required mailing supplies 
• Fuel company vehicles and assist with maintaining vehicle cleanliness and operation 
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, citations, or customer concerns to the Transportation Supervisor 
• Identify opportunities to improve route efficiency and pickup times 
• Use hand trucks and other equipment as needed 
• Maintain a professional appearance, including company uniform standards 
• Support warehouse and operational tasks as assigned 

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record 
• Strong communication and customer service skills 
• Reliable attendance and punctuality 
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds 
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills 
• Ability to work independently and efficiently 
• Previous courier, delivery, warehouse, or mail processing experience is a plus 

Work Environment

• Combination of driving, warehouse, and operational work environments 
• Physical and active role involving standing, lifting, bending, reaching, and moving materials 
• Use of office and warehouse equipment including computers, printers, sorters, mail equipment, and hand tools 
• Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions
