Remittance Processor II – Retail Lockbox

Essential Functions

• Must have a clear understanding of unique customer instructions and department processing guidelines

• Meet department production & quality goals

• Workgroup item processing that includes batch log on, batch re- association and the ability to process multiple accounts with different processing instructions

• Data Entry item processing that includes capturing from scanned image, in multiple applications, or physical work, manual keying, and field validation with the ability to process multiple accounts with different processing instructions

• Process PHI and PCI in compliance with HIPAA and all other applicable policies and regulations

• Cross-train and deliver results in other areas of the department as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

• Ability to understand customer instructions and follow department guidelines

• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

• Ability to be flexible and work overtime hours when needed

• Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination

• Ability to lift and move mail trays weighing up to 15 pounds

• Repetitive hand movement

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours may be required

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required

• 1+ years of payment processing or related experience in production environment required

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $17.50per hour.
