What you'll do...

Provide technical expertise to design, develop and maintain complex software components and products that support H&R Block business applications. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance Adobe Experience Cloud solutions to support H&R Block’s digital marketing and customer experience initiatives. Act as Subject Matter Expert with software programs like Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Launch/Data Collection, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Adobe Mix Modeler including application schema design, data source integration, identity resolution, and profile stitching to enable real-time personalization and audience activation. Implement identity management strategies to unify customer profiles across channels and devices, ensuring consistent and personalized experiences. Collaborate with enterprise architects, marketing, and data engineering teams to align platform capabilities with strategic business goals, and lead architectural changes in the system. Implement webSDK (Software Development Kit) and other tag management and application integration platforms. Mentor and lead cross-functional engineering teams. Create and maintain technical documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Solution Design References (SDRs), and software architecture artifacts.


What you'll bring to the team...

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technology field.

 

Eight years of application development experience as a technical team lead to include:

 

  • Design, implement and test data-driven marketing strategies with cloud-based solutions.
  • Manage scalable data pipelines across Adobe platforms for data integrity and governance.
  • Optimize digital performance across web, mobile, and omnichannel touchpoints.
  • Develop and implement XDM schemas for unified customer profiles to drive strategic engagement and personalization.
  • Architect and implement solutions using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP (RTCDP), segment audiences and coordinate journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and summarized dataset generation using Adobe Mix Modeler.
  • Adobe Data Collection or Adobe Launch to manage tags, rules, and data for event tracking across digital properties.
  • Adobe Analytics integration to capture and analyze customer behavior across digital touchpoints.
  • Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Tealium iQ.
  • Build predictive models that analyze and optimize media spending.
  • Integrate WebSDK for data collection across platforms.
  • Deploy Mobile SDKs to enable push notifications and tag-based event tracking via data streams.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for data exchange and system integration.
  • Create audience segmentation, custom reports and dashboard to monitor and analyze user behavior.
