Description

Report to Administrative Assistant to the SVP of Institutional Relations

Department Institutional Relations

FLSA Status Hourly, Non-Exempt

JOB PURPOSE

To provide administrative support to the staff and mission of the Institutional Relations Division.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Institutional Relations Office Administration

Track, upkeep, and restock inventory and supplies.

Assist in maintaining an accurate budget by tracking expenses, submitting concur reports and updating financial records.

Support the maintenance and updating of accurate Alumni records.

Special administrative projects.

Update and improve the organization and efficiency of processes.

Update Donor Database - virtuous, gits, etc. 

Oversee the mailing list 

Aid in the development and execution of campaigns. 

Institutional Relations Events

Aid in the development and execution of divisional events: Preview Day, FTC, Ready, etc. 

Communicate with divisional personnel on upcoming events.

Coordinate event logistics: Leadership Project, Alumni and Friends, Ministry Leader Dinner 

Other Duties as Assigned


Requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

MUST BE CURRENT STUDENT OF MBTS OR SPURGEON COLLEGE, AND

MUST QUALIFY FOR THE FEDERAL WORK STUDY PROGRAM VIA FAFSA.

To include, however not limited to: 

  • Christian with high integrity, currently pursuing a relationship with God.

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to pass a background screening, including driving record.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Varying shifts during regular office hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
  • No more than twenty hours per week.
  • Shared office environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequently required to sit or stand for periods of time at a desk or computer station.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Able lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
